sectors-immob-1Immobilisation is achieved by installing a relay in the cranking circuit of the vehicle. It can be employed remotely, or in combination with the driver ID solution. With Driver ID, the vehicle must have the key in position 2 and the driver then presents his fob. This allows the vehicle to crank and assigns the driver to the asset.

If done remotely, the end user can click the ‘Immob’ icon and it will turn amber, saying ‘turning on’ . Once the message is received back from the device confirming the action, the icon will go red and say ‘on’. This means that when the vehicle next attempts to start, it cannot.
